If you're involved in the gaming industry and you were at home between September 23 and 26, you might have missed out on a lot. As that's when the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2013 took place at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Hundreds of different gaming relating companies had their exhibits out there, all together more than 455 companies from around the world were represented, among them also 125 that made their debut at G2E.

The gambling arena is evolving and today the casino resorts aren't all about gaming, but in order to build loyalty, also the so-said secondary experience is very important - the food, the beverage, the hospitality and entertainment around the casino floor.

"In recent years, we've noticed a growing trend: In addition to enjoying the action on the gaming floor, patrons are also taking advantage of the many non-gaming amenities at casino resort properties," said Courtney Muller, senior vice president at Reed Exhibitions, which co-hosts G2E with the American Gaming Association.

And because of that, at this years Expo the there were also more than 75 exhibitors relating to other topics than directly gaming.

Of course, this was just extra. Among the gaming related exhibitors was International Game Technology (IGT) who could be called a gaming technology giant or a pioneer whose DoubleDown Casino currently engages more than 1.8 players daily. Among other things, this company introduced their Doubledown Casino Partner Program and how it can help increase customer loyalty as well as reach new players.
